STLFW Kicking Off Tomorrow! Join me at FABRIC & More!

It's going to be one heck of a fall full of fashion for this little blogger right here! I'm almost finished up with another post covering my antics in NYC for NYFW a couple weeks ago. As that fades into memory and I cover it over the next couple weeks, keep an eye out for new posts on another big week in fashion: STLFW!

Tomorrow marks the kickoff for Saint Louis Fashion Week. This season is arguably the biggest and baddest installment yet for STLFW. With events covering the gamut of all things fashion - from the St. Louis Fashion Blogger Awards (STLFBA) tomorrow night, to Saint Louis Fashion Fund's Emerging Designer Competition, to the Fashion Fund Gala with special guests supermodel Karlie Kloss and Derek Blasberg. Kloss is a St. Louis native (she technically relocated to STL as a toddler from Chicago) and one of the biggest names in the modeling industry. Blasberg, also a St. Louis native, holds the position of Editor at Large of Harper’s Bazaar, operates as the Senior Special Projects Editor at Vmagazine, and also is editor of VMAN. Although I can't afford to go to the Gala, I can't wait to hear all about it from those who can, and see all the photos and video from it!

But let's be honest, kickoff parties are always really rad. Since I wasn't blogging last year, I did not attend last fall's STLFBA. I have made friends with many of the blogger babes who were honored, though! I am so excited to see who will win awards this year! I was so humbled to have been nominated for three awards! I made it into the running in the following categories: Best Beauty Blog (y'all must love nail polish as much as I do!), and Best Newcomer (I'm glad my hard work has paid off, thanks!). If you've though about maybe coming to hang out with us, I strongly encourage you to do so!

Tomorrow's event is not ONLY just for the STLFBA, there's much, much more! Like Spring's kickoff event, also titled FABRIC, which I recapped HERE, there will be presentations, food, and mingling. From the STLFW website: "Craft Alliance Artist-in-Residence Grace Kubilius will present her current collection in a still presentation. St. Louis Design Week will show a video by Grain introduced by Retta Le Ritz. The Nine Network will present a unique video display. Shirt Kong, August Abroad and The Clover will be on site at the event. Complimentary drink samples from Pinnacle Vodka, Skinnygirl Wines, Peroni Italian Lager and Redd’s Apple Ale. Appetizers will be available from Michele C. Catering. Attendees can also enjoy complimentary snaps with Sara’s Social Booth." FABRIC will be held at the Public Media Commons in Grand Center downtown.

Other events I'm planning on attending are the Emerging Designer Competition presented by Brown Shoe Company and its afterparty, the Well Dressed Midwest VIP Blogger Lounge at Scape American Bistro, the Yigal Azrouël, Tess Giberson, Timo Weiland Runway Shows + Saint Rita Parlor Fashion Presentation and its wrap party, and hopefully those designer's Trunk Show at Saks Fifth Avenue. You might recognize the name Saint Rita Parlor from this post HERE. I am excited to get to see Neil's work again and see how his brand might have evolved since his last trunk show here in STL! I hope to possibly attend more of the events, but it will depend on my work schedule.

Will you be attending any events? I hope to see some non-blogging familiar faces!!!
