Playing In Snow With The Perfect Poncho

If you live in Saint Louis like I do, you'll know we've had a bit of wintry weather this week! Okay, "a bit" is an understatement. It's been snowy and very cold. I try not to complain until it drops below 25 degrees, and then I start to get cranky. Luckily, I was able to sneak outside during a moment of rare warmer temps this week and snap these photos! This poncho is one of my new favorite items, and I love that it's a versatile piece. I definitely see myself wearing this all year-round, with the right colors and seasonal items. I'm crossing my fingers for spring weather soon so that I can throw this over a tank or bra top, denim cutoffs, and a good pair of fringe-y boots. You can never have enough fringe.

Speaking of boots, you ought to recognize these from one of my earliest posts ever on the blog! Oh shoot, I just realized I'm wearing the same pair of disco pants as well. Whoops! Well, when you love items in your wardrobe, it can become pretty obvious. And you know what else? It's also obvious when you love what you're wearing, because it makes you want to dance. I'm a dork like that.

How have you been keeping perky during these cold and snowy days? Has the need for comfort totally taken over, or are you still staying excited about your outfits? I'm needing to actually find a day/night to go sledding because a couple months ago I thrifted a pair of pretty fabulous ski pants that need to get some use. Or how about a snowball fight party? I'm down.
