Mani Monday: Dripping in Gold and Glitter
Spring can either be full of life and warm breezes, or it can be gloomy and rainy. I like to ward off the drab spring days with bright and fun nail colors. Sometimes, I even add in some bling! This nail look was definitely almost creating its own sunshine, don't you think?
I have used this combination before, and I just adore the depth of Deborah Lippmann's "Swagga Like Us." It's a duochrome that really flashes varieties of color. And who wouldn't just love that name?! It makes me feel pretty cool. This Zoya Pixiedust in "Bar" is my go-to when it comes to adding some sparkle to my nail looks. Pixiedust polishes are really fun, and super attention-grabbing. I believe they're meant to be worn matte and without a top coat, but they feel a little gritty if you leave them be, so I always use a top coat to smooth them out.
There really isn't anything super special about this nail look, but I think it's just a touch fancier than a regular color! Since I'm not able to do tutorial videos quite yet (I would love to start making them for you!), here is a video that shows you how to do a look like mine:
Is glitter your thing too? If so, do you typically wear it like this, or something more subtle?
