Tune Tuesday: Get Your Butt to Best Coast

Seriously, anyone who likes to claim that Saint Louis has nothing going on just needs to get ouuut. Tomorrow night, I'll be attending the Opera Theatre of Saint Louis' production of The Barber of Seville in order to fill a "tweet seat." If you haven't heard of tweet seats, it's where a production allows members of the audience to sit and tweet the entire time to bring attention to the company, show, etc. It's a ton of fun. However! If I weren't attending The Barber of Seville, I would totally be jumping around at The Ready Room to Best Coast's music.

Hailing from Southern California, Best Coast is comprised of Bethany Cosentino and Bobb Bruno, and was established in 2009. The duo lays down tracks all on their own in the studio, and picks up other musicians to tour with. They're currently touring to support their third studio album, California Nights, which dropped on May 5th. If you like lady singers, great guitar riffs, and pop-surf-rock music, you need to crawl out of that Netflix hole you jump into on Wednesday nights and get your butt to Best Coast at the Ready Room.
