Plaid, Mixed Metals, and Lulu Seafood

Last week I visited my friend Julia at the restaurant she manages, Lulu Seafood. They just launched their new drink menu and I'm never one to say no to a great cocktail! My photographer pal Abby tagged along with me and we sipped fancy mixed drinks (their Jade Mule and lychee martini were super tasty!), made some new friends, and tried out a few appetizers. We were too busy enjoying our food and drink and new acquaintances to bother with photos of Lulu, but I know I'll be back to eat there again soon, so hopefully I can show you more from the restaurant itself!

Before I drove like a bat out of hell to make a DJ gig, I had Abby snap some quick photos for me! I don't even know what to label my style leanings anymore, but I feel like this is a pretty accurate representation of the current "me." I love a good plaid button-down, so when I snapped this up at Avalon Exchange recently, I knew it'd become a quick favorite item in my closet. These jeans are probably one of the most expensive items in my wardrobe! Although I did purchase them while working at maurices with my discount, they cost $99 retail. They feel like butter on, though, and fit like a dream! Plus, my thrifted western booties only cost $15, so I think it all balances out, right?
