Mani Monday: Moody Blues with OPI

This winter weather can really get me in a rut with color in my life! I wear more black, feel more gloomy, and altogether get disinterested in fun colors. This translates to my polish choices, too, so I've been purposefully making sure to keep my manis fun and full of color. 

These two gorgeous polishes were Christmas gifts from my boyfriend's sister and her family. She knows me all too well! Both are OPI, and applied as smoothly as butter. As I mentioned recently, I've become disenchanted with the application and quality of Julep, so using these OPI babies was sweet relief. The microglitter in You Blue It! is just too pretty, and the string glitter in I Lilac Glitter is a variety of blues and silvers. As you can see, the natural light makes You Blue It! a very purpley-blue.
