Weekday Workflow: Wednesday

Slightly warmer weather yesterday called for a little bit of rooftop hanging. Sure, it's still definitely chilly in Saint Louis, but when it's 32 degrees versus 10, it feels like summer. I even saw the sun peek out for a few minutes during my lunch break! When it's not totally overcast, it's easy to tell how faded my hair has become. I think it's pretty cool how it is the same color as my eyes, though. My mom approved of the idea of growing out "grunge roots," so if she says it won't look trashy, I will go ahead and let them happen. Moms know best.

About these fabulous printed jeggings - I found them in a super sale rack at JC Penney last fall. At the time, I couldn't even button them. I'm not kidding! But they rang out at $3.75, so I knew I could wait to wear them. Now that I've been hitting the gym more regularly and eating better, they fit perfectly! Because they're a bit "loud," I knew I needed to keep the rest of my outfit rather neutral/basic. A front-pocket white tee, matching tan booties and cardigan, and complementary scarf all did the trick.

By the way, everyone, this lip color is one of my absolute new favorites! I received it as one of the bonus goodies at Sephora after I filled my points bank. It's the new Smashbox Be Legendary Long Wear Lip Lacquer in the color Coral. I was a little hesitant about this because I'm not always a fan of coral colors on my skin tone, but it's an easily wearable warm coral that leans more nude-peach than hot orange. The formula is flawless, so I think I'll be adding more colors to my arsenal soon. I'm eyeballing Currant, because I love raspberry colors for lips.
