Mani Monday: Commander in Chic

Hi, loves! Happy Mani Monday! I unfortunately didn't snap many photos of last week's mani, so this is a quick post. I changed my polish a couple times and was rough on my hands, so each color chipped quickly. This color is one of my all-time favorites. While writing that last sentence I just realized that I have had that bottle of nail polish for nearly 6 years. I don't know what that means, besides I'm a polish hoarder and that Sally Hansen makes some darn good quality polish!

I also like this polish for the name: Commander in Chic. If you know me at all, in the last few years I've developed an affinity for Star Trek. Anything that makes me feel like I could be a badass commander on a Starfleet ship is a-ok with me! Do you think I'm a weird nerd yet?!

This mani is a good example of what happens when I super quickly paint my nails and don't do a lot of meticulous clean-up. See the sort of wiggly edges near my cuticles? They're not that noticeable unless you're up close and personal. But, this still looks better than the last time I visited a nail spa.
