These Are A Few Of My Favourite Things

I've had a bit more free time on my hands lately, so I've been trying to explore bits and pieces of Saint Louis that I have yet to enjoy. One of the first stops was Clementine's Ice Cream. This super cute little ice cream shop is relatively new, but they've burst onto the scene with some delectable flavors that leave you craving more. I met up with my friend and photographer, Justin, this past Friday to sample some of Clementine's icey offerings and snap some quick outfit photos.

Clementine's is located at the intersection of Lafayette and 18th, but due to some gnarly construction, you'll have to enter from inside the neighborhood versus approaching via Lafayette. The shop has a pretty little patio for you to hang on, and I especially loved this wooden bench. The inside of the shop is cozy and doesn't just offer your average ice cream flavors - they have "nice" and "naughty" flavors! Y'all know I went straight for the naughty flavors because they're made with booze. Friday afternoons at 4pm are just meant for boozy ice cream. The flavors I tried were Old Fashioned (made with Still 630's local RallyPoint Rye Whiskey) and Maple Bourbon with Salted Candied Pecans (the name speaks for itself). They were both incredibly tasty, with the Old Fashioned being smooth and oh so creamy. I could have eaten an entire vat of that stuff.

As you probably know by now, I'm a fairly casual gal. I also rarely wear skirts or dresses, but I'm really trying to branch out and stop wearing jeans every day. This stretchy, light midi skirt was perfect for a breezy summer day, and since I prefer wearing skirts up at my rather high natural waist, I knew a crop top was the right match. I've finally added a pair of classic Converse All Stars back into my wardrobe after my first pair of black low tops gave up the ghost a few years ago, and I'm stoked that they're white! I love how crisp white Converse look during the summer.

The title of this song came to me while DJing last weekend. A song that I absolutely LOVE is The Golden Filter's "A Few of My Favourite Things," which totally mentions ice cream, whiskey, vodka, foreign cities, cute boys, and on and on. It fit pretty perfectly for this post!
