Midweek Mani: Sally Hansen's Peach Party
Midweek Mani Maven Meade is back again with a pretty summer polish! She reports:
This week's polish TOTALLY makes up for last week's poor application formula on Be More Pacific. I'm sporting Sally Hansen Triple Shine #125 "Peach Party" this week. I am so pleased with this color and the formula! On drugstore.com this polish is available for $4.99. Although I've seen some reviews criticizing this formula, I actually think the application was great! It goes on like a lacquer with pretty sturdy color in the first coat (but still requiring a second coat to even it out), doesn't dry too fast, which makes the application even, and has a wide brush! Wide brushes are a favorite of mine. They aren't great for detailed nail art, obviously, but if all you want is a nice clean varnish, they really make the application trouble-free. So what about the color? This is a gorgeous summer color reminiscent of the nectarine milkshakes I like to make for chilly dessert on a hot summer day! It's a bright and fun color without being too outlandish or neon. The bottles are also skinny (only 10mL volume versus 15mL for OPI bottles) which I actually enjoy because you can keep it in your purse for touch ups. I just love it! Seriously, I have five colors from the triple shine collection and now I officially want all of them!
